The Small to Medium Business Village is a brand-new feature at Procurement Act Live 2025, created to support the Procurement Act 2023’s commitment to a more transparent, accessible and inclusive public procurement system. The Act places a clear obligation on contracting authorities to remove barriers for SMEs and ensure fairer access to public sector opportunities.
This new zone brings those principles to life by offering SMEs a dedicated platform to engage directly with buyers, showcase their capabilities and access procurement opportunities more easily. It also enables public sector organisations to meet their responsibilities under the Act by actively engaging with a diverse and innovative SME supplier base.
