Cabinet Office Communities of Practice
We’re delighted to announce that the Cabinet Office’s acclaimed Communities of Practice (CoP) initiative will be playing a leading role at Procurement Act Live 2025. In a dedicated interactive space, CoP Live will deliver a series of focused, practitioner-led sessions designed to bring key elements of the Procurement Act to life.
Building on the success of their monthly virtual meet-ups—attended by over 36,000 procurement professionals—the CoP team will provide in-person learning through a mix of expert presentations and hands-on table exercises. These sessions will be hosted and facilitated by the Cabinet Office CoP leadership team and supported by Subject Matter Experts.
Bringing Learning to Life: Cabinet Office Communities of Practice at Procurement Act Live 2025
The CoP Live sessions will focus on three core themes:
- Competitive Flexible Procedure – Exploring how to make the most of this powerful new approach to public procurement.
- Preliminary Market Engagement – Demonstrating how early supplier engagement drives better outcomes.
- Contract Management – Unpacking the essential elements of managing contracts effectively under the new regime.
These sessions offer a unique opportunity for procurement practitioners to engage directly with Cabinet Office experts, develop practical skills, and connect with peers from across the public procurement landscape. Those interested in attending should contact their CoP lead for further details.
